Representative McEntire stuck around for a gunny sack race against some 8th graders and a chess match against our high school chess master. He was victorious in one of these competitions. Can you guess which one?

We would like to thank the Assistance League of the Columbia-Pacific for sponsoring a field trip for our 6th grade class and our middle school drama club to the Liberty Theater to watch the ballet production of "Alice in Wonderland." This was performed by students enrolled in the Astoria Conservatory of Music and Dance. We would also like to thank the Assistance League for all of the other clothing and generous support that they provide our students and families. In addition, we would like to thank Karli Nelson for collaborating with the Assistance League and for coordinating this great trip.

We’re a little late… but some things are too good not to share. 😉

Parents of little ones, don’t miss this!
If you have a child birth to age 5, this event is for you.
Join us on April 22 at Naselle Elementary for our Early Learning Screening & Kindergarten Enrollment event, a great opportunity to learn more about your child’s development, connect with our school, and access support early.
We are also thankful that DSHS will be on site to help connect families with services as needed.
Appointments are encouraged, so please check out the flyer for full details and call 360-484-7121 to ask questions or schedule your child’s appointment.
And please help us spread the word by sharing this post with families who may benefit. Our youngest learners matter, and early support makes a difference.
