Some pictures from this morning's first elementary student of the month assembly of the year. This month's focus was--KINDNESS. Next month's focus is--RESPECT.
The Lady Comets prevailed over our KM rivals in a hard fought, 4-set match. The Comets won all 3 of their sets with identical 25-21 scores. Way to go, Lady Comets!
🎉 27 STUDENTS. 27 CERTIFICATIONS. REAL-WORLD SKILLS! 🎉
Congratulations to 27 students in our new Family and Consumer Sciences class, taught by Ms. Estella Sheldon, who have officially earned their Washington State Food Handler Cards!
This is what Career and Technical Education (CTE) is all about, giving students hands-on learning opportunities while helping them earn real-world certifications and skills they can take directly into the workplace.
We’re proud to see our students turning classroom learning into skills and credentials that have value beyond school.
👏 Congratulations to Ms. Sheldon and all 27 students!

Junior High Football Season Update
Unfortunately, Naselle must cancel the remainder of the junior high football season, as our roster is down to eight players. In eight-man football, this leaves no substitutes when a player needs a break, becomes ill, or is injured.
After consulting with our junior high and high school football coaches, we made this difficult decision out of an abundance of caution for student safety.
To help students stay involved, eighth-grade players will have the opportunity to join high school JV football. Seventh-grade players may serve as high school football managers or join cross country.
We recognize how disappointing this is for our players, families, and coaches. We are proud of our students’ hard work and commitment, and we appreciate the coaches and families who have supported them throughout the season.
Thank you for your understanding as we put student safety first and support our students in their next steps. Go Wildcats! Go Comets!

Hello, Naselle-Grays River Families!
Just a reminder that the REACH Program begins tomorrow!! ALL Kindergarten-5th Grade students are welcome to join us EVERY DAY, Monday-Thursday from 3:00-5:00 pm, and ALL 6th-12th Grade students are welcome each morning before school, Monday-Thursday, from 7:15-8:15 am.
We understand that there was a technical issue with the online enrollment form sent on Friday, so please disregard the link that was sent out previously. If you'd like your child to participate (and the hard-copy didn't quite make it from the classroom to the bus ride home), go ahead and send your child to school with a note to stay for REACH, and we will provide an enrollment form at pick-up. Please remember that, until a route can be pieced together, pick-up at the school is the only option
Please do not hesitate to reach out to Kelsi Nelson with any questions! kelsi.nelson@naselleschools.org
